So long friend …
Cuban Pete has passed away. I had the opportunity of spending a number of days with Cuban Pete and his dance partner Barbara Craddock while working on a story for El Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale. He was a complex, dynamic character and a good man, and I feel lucky that I got the chance to get to know the man credited with inventing the Mambo.
Craddock said he danced until the day he died. My heart goes out to Barbara and Pete’s family.
No commentsAhhh, wedding
I shot my first long wedding yesterday. When I got home, I had the same feeling you get when you go to a wedding. Complete exhaustion.
The ring bearer defied human limits by dancing for AT LEAST 4 hours non-stop. I’m not exaggerating. I didn’t see him eat ANYTHING the entire time. Not even a sample from the candy table or a piece of cake. Incredible and a bit scary.
Nothing special …
Haven’t posted in a while, so I thought I’d throw these up there. I’m not sure I really like them, but, I’m experimenting shooting stuff I wouldn’t normally shoot.
